Our Business Development Team (Pre-Construction and Sales) conducts in depth reviews of the key project drawings and documents in the initial bidding phase. Our focus is to create an accurate and realistic estimate that prioritizes open communication around a fully transparent scope of work, general contract terms, project schedule, and a reliable price for our customers.  We strive to deliver a clear path on how to connect high level development designs to detailed Owner specifications and requirements for a financeable project that will perform throughout the project’s life span.

Once we agree to advance and engage in an EPC contract as partners, there is a great deal of information to manage on both sides. We firmly believe that the EPC close and Notice to Proceed (NTP) are most efficiently reached through regular communication, which we will help facilitate through our team’s resources. Our goal is to create an open and transparent relationship to eliminate any and all potential unforeseen detractors. We will provide weekly updates during this process using project management software, collaboration in live (shared) working documents, and regular team calls that span all facets of the project.  As challenges and opportunities arise, we will tackle them together. Direct communication is highly valued, and with it we can achieve our goals.

We partner with our clients to thoroughly diligence, engineer, and support construction on NAR’s solar and battery storage projects. Our in-depth knowledge of the permitting and development landscape coupled with construction best practices are utilized to maximize the value to the customer and streamline an efficient construction process. Our goal is to provide our clients with a heightened return on their investment for each project through detailed design, value engineering, and site diligence.

The engineering team thoroughly reviews preliminary and permit design packages to fully understand project needs and design requirements. We partner with clients to optimize constructability and provide value engineering opportunities that maximize value, working closely with regulators and industry leaders to ensure our work consistently meets and exceeds AHJ requirements and the highest quality standards.

We provide everything from initial layouts and bid packages to construction level detail plans and reports for electrical, structural, and civil components of the solar construction. Our team’s philosophy is to provide detailed engineering that maximizes system output and streamlines construction for efficient project construction and long-term use.

The engineering team works side by side with the field team throughout the construction phase of each project we work on from mobilization through final completion. We prepare quality control plans, conduct regular site visits, and collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

With more than a decade of renewables procurement experience, the NAR purchasing team has the industry relationships and knowledge to secure the quality equipment and highly experienced subcontractors needed for the timely completion of your renewables project.

Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities are crucial for ensuring optimal renewable energy infrastructure performance, reliability, and longevity. The NAR O&M Team has focused its efforts on developing highly qualified professionals that possess a wide range of installation and troubleshooting expertise. Our philosophy revolves around the premise that there is no substitute for experience and training. Our O&M Team strives to obtain an in-depth understanding of each system we maintain and service to accurately assess each situation that may arise.

Regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities identify and address potential issues before they escalate into costly problems. We look at areas of deficiency in relation to standard industry practice and the experience and capability to address these areas of deficiency to promote the longevity of our clients’ systems, leading to increased profitability.

Rapid response and deployment to the site to minimize production loses is a focus for the NAR O&M Department; coordinated and sequential troubleshooting techniques will ensure safety of the responding team members while effectively addressing the issues on the site. Expert troubleshooting with detailed documentation of the information available on site will allow system owners and operators to make clear decisions minimizing system downtime.

As systems age and new technology is developed opportunities arise for a reassessment of the system’s operational performance and possible upgrade of the system components. NAR’s diverse engineering and technical team members will provide innovative solutions for projects where production has become a concern or where the project has reached its expected life and needs remediation. The typical process includes:

• Assessment of the existing system
• Development of recommended solutions and options
• Design of the system upgrades or decommissioning plan
• Removal and disposal of the old components
• Installation of the upgraded components and re-commissioning services

Prefabrication offers significant advantages in terms of efficiency, quality control, safety, scheduling, and cost-effectiveness, all contributing to the successful implementation of renewable energy projects.  Prefabrication involves manufacturing components in a clean, environmentally controlled factory, reducing production costs and meeting project timelines.

In prefabrication, we build several product lines however we have created standards within each project family. Standardization ensures consistency in quality and performance across multiple installations. Standardization allows us to perform repeat tasks which increases productivity and consistency while keeping costs low.

Prefabricated components reduce construction time and allow for concurrent construction activities, enabling faster project completion and earlier energy generation.

Factory conditions offer controlled environments for precision manufacturing, reducing the risk of errors, defects, and material waste. Through our QA/QC processes, we can test and verify certain aspects of the components before the products even reach the project sites.
